Buying In Bulk: From the White House to the ePreneur, General Office Bulk Purchases Make Cents

The president is doing it. Millions of Sam’s Club small business members are doing it. Are you doing it too? Purchasing your office supplies in bulk, that is.

Bentonville, AR (PRWEB) April 23, 2009

Sam’s Club has launched its 2009 Small Business Savings Drive, where Sam’s Club associates are reaching out to small business owners nationwide to help them identify cost-savings solutions.

“The success of small business is key to our nation’s economic recovery and we want to be part of the solution,” said Cindy Davis, executive vice president of membership, marketing and ecommerce at Sam’s Club. “Pennies matter more than ever for today’s small-business owner and helping them find as much or more than thousands of dollars in savings has a real impact and can mean keeping an employee, expanding or financing a start-up.”

Since the beginning of the savings drive earlier this month, Sam’s Club has helped nearly 20,000 small businesses including restaurants, convenience stores, day care operators as well as consultants and office-based professionals complete cost comparisons of products available at Sam’s vs. other providers. The total savings potential? $ 34,422,363.

As part of the Sam’s Club Small Business Savings Drive, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small business owners alike are encouraged to visit Sam’s Club new small business resource site (http://www2.samsclub.com/smallbusiness) to participate in the launch of the warehouse club’s Small Business Savings Drive initiative, where Sam’s Club has pledged to help small business find $ 270 million in savings via cost comparisons.

Small business owners can find an online cost comparison tool, helpful savings tips, and other small business resources. Most importantly, one can find a complimentary one-day membership pass to test-drive Sam’s Club small business savings in person as a print-ready download.

The complimentary one-day membership pass, which is good through May 25th, 2009 and can be found at Sam’s Club Small Business Savings Drive Hompeage.
