Arizona Central Members, Employees Get Head Start on New Year’s Resolutions with MoneyCoach

Arizona Central takes financial education to the next level with the introduction of the MoneyCoach online financial education tool. MoneyCoach is provided at no charge to both employees and members as a resource in the areas of personal finance, investing, retirement and wealth management.
Since its launch, in November, both employees and members have begun using MoneyCoach and have already benefitted from using the program.
“I was able to save $ 435 on my car insurance and $ 384 per year by changing my cell phone plan, for a savings of $ 819 per year!” says Stephanie Allen of the Arizona Central’s Ina branch in Tucson.
MoneyCoach was developed by Precision Information, and as part of its advisory group of 15 financial institutions, Arizona Central is working in partnership to attract 100,000 MoneyCoach users by the end of 2011.
“MoneyCoach is a tool that keeps one on track with their personal financial goals through the use of interactive articles, to-do lists and progress tracking, and quiz questions that test their knowledge,” said Todd Pearson, Arizona Central Credit Union President/CEO. “There isn’t a better time to introduce the MoneyCoach tool, especially with the start of the new year when many review their financial spending and prepare for what the year will bring.”
