I don’t really know where to tell you to apply but please make sure you DON’T use any lender that wants a fee up front. The internet is full of scams that will tell you that you are approved for a loan and request a security deposit fee. It’s a scam.
You have just given them all of your personal info like SS number, Name, address, date of birth. And they want you to send a fee. You’ll pay the fee and never hear from them again plus they have enough info about you to steal your identity, although, if you already have bad credit, it’s unlikely they could open any credit card accounts in your name.
Stick with lenders you know or can check out BEFORE you give them any info. Make sure whoever you use is really a lender, not some scam artist from heaven only knows what third world country. You can’t exactly go to Nigeria to try to track down the scammer that just took you for $ 500. bucks if you wire them money.
