I am 17 and am “in debt” with NCO financial regarding paypal it’s their mistake not mine!!! I received a letter from them…
then, I called NCO ..and they asked for my social to look my problem up… I refused then I told them I was 17 and then they said then it’s my parents responsibility.. I was wondering are my parent’s credit gettting ruined by this incident? Does NCO financial have that capability? thanks!!!!

Does this place have your parents social security numbers? You need to write a letter to the credit bureau and dispute this. Also have your parents check their credit report.

You have to be 18 to legally enter into a contract. It really depends on what you signed and all. Paypal should be linked to your account and all and all information is traceable. Talk to your parents though because you can probably qualify for a free consultation to help with this situation.
Nope. Even if it were your debt, you are a minor and legally incapable of entering into any contract without parental consent…you can “disavow” or rescind a contract.
